Amy Atwood, owner
A passion for wine began in 1996 while I was living in Australia, where I was a beverage manager for a hospitality group which owned several restaurant and performance venues. In 2002, I returned to the United States and worked in sales and management positions for wine wholesalers and importers, both on a regional and national accounts level.
My personal and professional wine journey has led me to seek out more natural wines. Wines made from grapes that are grown organically, without toxic chemicals. These wines are vibrant and full of life. They are generous with fruit but light on their feet and food friendly wines.
Most of the wines I sell are made with organic grapes, natural yeasts, no added acids or sugar and minimal added sulfites.
My wine procurement travels have taken me to Argentina, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, South Africa and California.
I have been honored to act as a wine judge at the Dallas International Wine Competition, Houston Wine Show, Green Wine Competition and the National Women in Wine Competition.
A dedicated explorer, I was born in Texas where I grew up chasing rattlesnakes back down their holes. I have lived in Dallas, New York City, Sydney and Melbourne and am currently based in Los Angeles.
